It's True

Wherever you go, there you are... and if you're a Shilcutt, you'll know someone along the way. We just got back from NYC and Project Dance, and while waiting in line in the airport to come home, my friend Chez from ACU called out my name from the other security line. Small world. We were seated one row from each other and seat swapped and talked the whole way back to DFW.

Performing was so much fun, and we also talked to people while they were watching the rest of the show about why we were there. This was amazing, too, because it rained most of the day Saturday, and people were just stopping and watching as the water poured down. God was definitely moving. One guy even heard the music from several blocks over saying, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," and came running to see what was going on. So cool. We had some great times of worship, and then took classes from 10-3 on Sunday in the new Alvin Ailey center. It was so cool to get to take classes from Christians who excel in their art and desire for others to know Him. Traveling dancing missionaries...

Travelling dancing missionaries...cool. Sounds right up your alley! I love the story about the guy who heard the music and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" and came running. Sounds like a lot more of that is needed in the world today. I'm glad you got to be a part of it. I wish I'd been there watching in the rain, too. love you.

Dancing missionaries, I think that was what we told you your job should be. I'm so glad that is a real job and we didn't just make it up! :) Glad NYC was so great- and you're right, ACU and A-town follows you EVERYWHERE! It's actually kinda funny. Miss you girl!

Something that I would like to add and completely misquote (sorry Smom), "wherever you go I will always be your sister"

Love your guts. Wish I could have been there. Blessings on you this weekend during your performances. Before you know it you'll be seeing me again. :)

I remember Chez, it is such a small world, but thinking you were all the way up in NYC. It never surprises me the people you run into while traveling!
