Rolling along...
I've often thought it would be cool to have a job in the travel industry. A- because it's so fun to travel, B- it's fun to hear stories from when other people travel, C- so you can travel. So Wednesday night as we're purchasing airline tickets for the small group of dancers going to New York, I'm trying to help everyone get set up so that we can find the best deal, etc., when I pull a stunt similar to the Big Fat Greek Wedding scene in the travel store as she gets tangled in the cords while attempting to use a rolling chair. In a room full of dancers, I attempted to sit in the rolling chair by the computer and in the process send it out flying behind me into another dancer and the cabinet of paperwork as I am flailing my arms on the way to the floor.
The problem herein lies that this in not my first mishap with rolling chairs... Ask anyone in the camp office, especially Cathy, I can knock over a rolling chair with the best of them. I guess I just anticipate more stability even though I know that these are designed for momentum. Many days when Cathy would call me over to work with her, the roll ended up with me tumping myself forward and trying to catch the chair before we both hit the floor. So rollers, proceed with caution. Remember, where there's a roll there's a risk.

For someone who is so graceful in most everything else, your talent to fall out of rolling chairs always did amaze me. It almost made me feel graceful. Thanks for that laugh today.
PS Hey, if you ever decide to work in the travel industry- call me, I could always use a vacation. :)
